Abstract:
Superior dwarf source Shiai 2 and 09107 F
6 with high resistance to stripe rust and powdery mildew were hybridized, and the dwarf gene varieties, introduction rate, culm reduction effect and disease resistance in F
2 generation were detected by molecular markers. The results showed that three dwarf genes(Rht-B1b, Rht4 and Rht8) in 120 wheat lines of F
2 generation were detected, among which Rht-B1b gene accounted for 69.2%, Rht4 gene accounted for 78.3% and Rht8 gene accounted for 34.2%. The average wheat height was 56 cm, and a percentage of 34.1% in F
2 generation were resistant to powdery mildew and stripe rust. F
2 generation newly created had good resistance to disease and these available excellent wheat germplasm resources with 3 dwarf genes would provide important intermediate germplasm materials for the breeding and applications.
