Abstract:
TIFY gene family is a family of transcription factors unique to plants. Fifteen pepper TIFY genes were identified by bioinformatics, of which the number of amino acids ranged from 153 to 411, which were distributed on 8 chromosomes and all CaTIFYs were located in the nucleus. The analysis of evolutionary relationship showed that CaTIFY could be clustered into 8 groups, and pepper TIFYs had the closest genetic relationship with tomato TIFYs. The expression of CaTIFY2,CaTIFY3,CaTIFY4,CaTIFY11 was higher in leaf and flower development. The relative expression of CaTIFY2,CaTIFY3,CaTIFY4,CaTIFY7,CaTIFY11,CaTIFY12 gene was high during the development of pericarp and placenta. The expression of CaTIFY2,CaTIFY4,CaTIFY11,CaTIFY12 was high during seed development. The CaTIFYs gene promoter contained a variety of hormones and abiotic stress response elements. Analysis of transcriptome data showed that the expression of CaTIFY4,CaTIFY9,CaTIFY11,CaTIFY14 gene in roots significantly increased after abiotic stress and hormone treatment, while the expression of CaTIFY9 in leaves significantly decreased.
