Abstract:
The complete chloroplast genome of Pseudognaphalium affine was sequenced by Illumina platform. The results showed that P. affine chloroplast genome was 153 103 bp in size, and the chloroplast genome contained a pair of 24 765 bp reverse repeat regions. Each region separated a small single copy region of 18 509 bp and a large single copy region of 85 064 bp, the total GC content was 37.1%. A total of 113 unique genes was annotated, including 80 protein coding genes, 4 rRNA genes and 29 tRNA genes. A total of 48 scattered repetitive sequences and 74 simple repeats were detected, of which codon preferred to end with A/U base. Phylogenetic analysis showed that P. affine had the closest genetic relationship with Anaphalis sinica, Helichrysum italicum and Leontopodium leiolepis. The analysis of the chloroplast genome of P. affine laid a foundation for species identification, protection, development and utilization including phylogenetic research.
