Abstract:
Boyu26 was a hybrid maize produced by Shubao Seed Industry Co. Ltd. in Botou City, Hebei Province, with inbred line A98 as the mother and inbred line C62 as the father, which was approved by the National Crop Variety Certification Committee. In this study, variance analysis and Shukla coefficient of variation were used to analyze and comprehensively evaluate the high yield, stability and adaptability of Boyu26. The results showed that the yield of Boyu26 was significantly higher than that of Zhengdan958, showing better production performance. Because of the higher yield increase point rates and the smaller coefficient of variation, Boyu26 had good stability and wide adaptability in the Huanghe-Huaihe-Haihe zone. Boyu26 was suitable for planting in summer maize sowing areas such as Henan Province, Shandong Province, southern and southern areas of Baoding City and Cangzhou City of Hebei Province, Guanzhong Irrigated area of Shaanxi Province, Yuncheng City and Linfen City of Shanxi Province, part of Pingchuan area of Jincheng City, north of Huaihe River area of Anhui and Jiangsu Province, Xiangyang area of Hubei Province, etc.
