Abstract:
In this study, the seeds of Oxytropis myriophylla were used as the material, and the reasons for the dormancy of seeds of Oxytropis myriophylla were analyzed by observing the morphological characteristics of seeds, the seed vitality, seed water absorption, seed breaking hardness and seed germination were studied. Seeds were treated differently and the ways to lift seed hibernation were explored. The viability of the seeds used in the experiment reached 77.80%, but the germination rate of intact seeds without treating the seed coat was extremely low. Treatment with sandpaper could break the hardness of seeds, and the hardness rate reduced to 7%; The germination rate was 86%. After the sandpaper broke the hardness of the seeds, the promotion effect on seed germination was most obvious when the IBA concentration was 50 mg/L, the germination rate was as high as 97%, and the average germination days were shorter than those of the control. Comprehensive comparison, the germination effect of Oxytropis myriophylla seeds was best after the seed coat was treated with sandpaper and then treated with IBA solution of 50 mg/L.
