Abstract: In this study, 30 kinds of native begonias germplasms of Guizhou province were used as research materials to evaluate and analyze the ornamental value, and it was found that their ornamental value was high.And, as a native flower, it had great potential for development and application.Among of them, 8 begonias germplasms including Begonia cathayana,B. Grandis,B. Porteri,B. Palmata,B. augustinei,B. limprichtii,B. fimbristipula and B. pedatifida had the highest ornamental value and visual beauty, and also the greatest potential in garden development.They were excellent to be developed native flowers, suggested to focus on development.The investigated results provided reference for the exploitation and utilization of wild begonia germplasm resources in Guizhou, the development direction of begonia was prospected.
