Study on Seed Germination Characteristics of Ensete glaucum

The seeds of Ensete glaucum were used as research materials, and the methods of standard germination method and germination rate measurement were used to study different treatment methods（treatment methods were untreated, normal temperature soaking, grinding 2/3 skin and 60 ℃ hot water soaking）, different culture temperatures（culture temperature: 15 ℃, 30 ℃, 10-20 ℃, 15-25 ℃ and 20-30 ℃） and different culture substrates（the matrix was sand soil, turf soil, garden soil）. The seed germination of Ensete glaucum（Roxb.） Cheesm was affected, and the growth of the seedlings of Ensete glaucum（Roxb.） Cheesm. was measured. The results showed that the seed weight was 54.2 g, the water absorption rate was 134.54%, and the seeds were hard bearing. The seed grinding treatment was the best treatment method, and 20-30 ℃ was the best temperature for seed germination, and the seed germination rate could reach 56.7%. Sand soil was the best substrate for seed germination, and the germination rate was 45%. The seedlings from three different substrates were measured and the data were analyzed. The seedlings were not sensitive to the cultivated substrates.
