Abstract
The Cleyera japonica Thunb is a native woody flower in Guizhou, which has high ornamental value and landscape application prospect. The effects of different substrates, different rooting promoters and different mass concentrations on rooting by C. japonica were analyzed by using three factors and three levels orthogonal experimental design. The results showed that the main factors affecting the rooting rate and root growth of C. japonica were the substrate, and the effect of IBA was better than NAA and root powder. Also, the high concentration of IBA was better than the low concentration of IBA in the range of 50—150 mg·L-1. The comprehensive analysis results showed that the optimal combination of C. japonica cutting was A1B2C3, that was, C. japonica cutting effect was the best when soaked in 150 mg·L-1 IBA solution in perlite matrix.
