Collection of Local Pumpkin Resources and Evaluation on Seedling Traits in Fujian Province

In order to study the genetic diversity of Fujian provincial pumpkin cultivars resources, 58 Fujian provincial pumpkin cultivars collected from the third National Crop Germplasm Survey were used as materials, and the seed and seedling traits were measured, and the trait indexes were clustered. The results showed that the coefficient of variation between seeds and seedlings of Fujian pumpkin landraces ranged from 7.23% to 54.69 %, and the differences between characters were obvious. The resources of Fujian pumpkin landraces had rich genetic diversity. In this study, the local pumpkin resources in Fujian Province were divided into three groups, and the genetic differences among different groups were clarified, which laid a foundation for the utilization of local pumpkin variety resources and the selection and breeding of new melon rootstocks in Fujian Province.
