Abstract
The leaf spot resistance level of 316 new varieties(lines) tested in the Arachis hypogaea complex regional trial in He’nan Province from 2017 to 2022 was comprehensively evaluated, in order to provide reference for Arachis hypogaea variety layout and disease prevention and control in production. The results showed that during 2017-2022, 10.91% to 100% of varieties were above medium resistance level, and 69.09% to 89.09%of susceptible varieties were detected. In 2021, 2 highly resistant varieties were detected, and no susceptible varieties were found. No highly susceptible varieties were found in the six years, indicating that the resistance level of Arachis hypogaea varieties to leaf spot in He’nan Province had been greatly improved after many years of variety replacement. From 2017 to 2022, the proportion of varieties above mid-resistance level in different groups from high to low was small grain groups(45.08%), summer sowing groups(34.25%), and Intercropping wheat groups(31.40%), while varieties above high resistance level only existed in Intercropping wheat groups, accounting for 1.70%. Two highly resistant materials were selected, which could be popularized in production and used as the basis for leaf spot resistance breeding.
