Abstract:
In order to study the conflict between right-turning vehicles and pedestrians at the intersection, and reasonably arrange the yield sign facilities, by dividing the traffic modes of right-turning vehicles and pedestrians, the conflict characteristics of right-turning vehicles and pedestrians at the intersection are analyzed from the perspective of time and space. In the analysis, the collision probability in the two modes of RTOR and PPRT is used to determine the number of collisions in time; the information efficiency maximization model is used in space to make the driver obtain more information efficiency. The research results show that the conflict evaluation index under the PPRT model is significantly higher than that of the RTOR model, and the number of conflicts is lower than that of the RTOR model. The output result of the maximum information benefit model through genetic algorithm is 011001, and the fitness is 2.75×10~4, which is higher than that of the uncanalized intersection. The above results show that the right-turn phase and traffic islanding at the intersection can effectively reduce the conflict between right-turn vehicles and pedestrians, and the optimal setting of the yield sign can provide more information for drivers to take deceleration measures.
