Design and Simulation of the Hydraulic Walking System of the Harvester Based on AMESim

  • According to the working environment of the southern forest region of China and the technical characteristics of the chassis structure of the wheeled harvester, the working principle of the hydraulic running system of the harvester is analyzed, and the semi variable hydrostatic compound transmission walking system of the harvester is designed and studied with reference to the foreign design scheme. Based on the terramechanics model of harvester driving on forest slope, the components of the hydraulic system are selected, and the hydraulic walking system is modeled and simulated by AMESim terrace for the two schemes. The simulation results indicate that under the same working conditions, the scheme of variable displacement motor is more complicated to control than the scheme of fixed displacement motor, and the error of driving speed is greater than that of theory. The hydraulic traveling system of fixed displacement motor scheme can climb the 20 ° ramp at 6.8 km/h, drive smoothly on the flat forest road at 22.25 km/h respectively. The parameters basically meet the theoretical design requirements, and the designed system is known to be good feasibility. It can provide a reference for the innovative design of the hydraulic system of the walking mechanism of the harvester.
