Abstract:
According to the completed low cyclic loading test and finite element analysis, the analysis program of the section bending moment-curvature relationship is compiled considering the effect of hoop reinforcement in order to study the calculation method for the normal section bearing capacity of concrete-encased steel cross-shaped columns. The normal section bearing capacity of the specimens is calculated using the compiled program. The influence of different parameters on the normal section bearing capacity of concrete-encased steel cross-shaped columns is systematically studied. The research results show that the program calculation results are in good agreement with the test results and finite element analysis results. With the increase of concrete strength, steel ratio and yield strength of steel, the normal section bearing capacity increases; with the increase of characteristic value of stirrup spacing, the normal section bearing capacity increases, but the increase amplitude is small; with the different axial loads, the influence law of load angle on the normal section bearing capacity is different. Compared with reinforced concrete cross-shaped columns, the normal section bearing capacity of concrete-encased steel cross-shaped columns has been greatly improved. The analysis method and calculation program are effective, stable and accurate, and can predict the normal section bearing capacity of concrete-encased steel cross-shaped columns more accurately.
