Abstract: With the gradual decrease in the oil resources in the world,more and more attention has been paid to the exploitation and the requirement of the renewable resources.In this paper the applications of hemicelluloses extracted from wood and(non-wood) plant as wet end additives in papermaking were introduced in detail,meanwhile,the foreground of the application of hemicelluloses was discussed.
