Abstract: The researches of poly(lactic acid)(PLA)/cellulose, PLA/modified fiber and PLA/cellulose derivatives composites were reviewed. The advantages and disadvantages of the compatibility, dispersion, mechanical properties and degradation characteristics of the composites were introduced. And then, the PLA/EC, PLA/cellulose ester and PLA/carboxymethyl cellulose were presented in detail. This paper provided a reference for the development and application of composites for cellulose/PLA.
