Abstract:
This paper utilizes finite element analysis software and the software Excite PU to analyze connecting rod of diesel engine.First, the software Excite PU is used to analyze the big end bearing and small end bushing EHD force, then the dangerous crankshaft angles are selected based on the bearing force.The bearing and bushing load are mapped to the finite element mesh.Furthermore, the finite element analysis software is used to calculate the stress and check the fatigue strength of the connecting rod.At the same time the contact between connecting rod body and connecting rod cap is analyzed, also the deformation of big end bearing is analyzed.Using the above analysis method, the calculation result of connecting rod strength is more accurate and reliable.
