Abstract:
Methanol fuel has better physical and chemical properties than gasoline fuel, so developing methanol fuel engine to further improve the comprehensive performance of the engine has become a hot research direction in the engine industry.Based on the physical and chemical properties of methanol fuel, an electronic control injection gasoline engine was modified, and the performance of the modified methanol engine was experimentally analyzed.The experimental results show that the performance of the modified methanol engine is similar to that of the original gasoline engine, the fuel economy is 8% lower than that of the gasoline engine, and the emission performance is improved by 30%.
