Abstract:
The technical characteristics of gas turbine and its application and development in automotive power field are introduced. In order to further improve the efficiency of the gas turbine, the regenerator can be used, and the gas temperature in front of the turbine can be further improved.At the same time, the gas turbine with ceramic parts can be developed with emphasis.On this basis, the ceramic gas turbine for vehicles and its development status are mainly introduced.Finally, a comparative study of traditional internal combustion engines such as gas turbines and diesel engines is carried out.Compared with diesel engine, gas turbine has no reciprocating parts, and its speed is high, so the specific weight and overall dimensions of the unit can be greatly reduced.Considering the advantages of compact structure and total weight, gas turbines have been used in armored vehicles such as tanks.Through relevant research, it has also been proved that it is technically feasible to use gas turbines as vehicle power sources.In addition to military vehicles, gas turbines are now expected to be developed as power plants for heavy vehicles.
