Abstract: Aiming at the problems of low efficiency and waste of resources in corn harvest in hilly and mountainous areas, this paper designs and develops a 4YZJ-2L corn ear and straw harvesting and baling machine.The integrated machine integrates the composite functions of self-propelled corn harvester and bundling machine.Through the integrated application of double-layer cutting table, parallel baling machine and automatic control system, it achieves categorized harvesting of corn ears and straws and continuous baling operations, capable of flexibly adapting to the limitations of small plots in hilly and mountainous regions.The field experiment results show that the integrated machine has significant advantages in improving operation efficiency, reducing loss rate and improving bale quality, which provides an effective mechanization scheme for corn harvesting in hilly and mountainous areas.
