Abstract: Comparing the theoretical research on the calculation method and calculation process of traction power, traction force and specific fuel consumption of a tractor and the analysis, and its measured traction index, it is found that the calculated result and the measured value have little difference, so the theoretical research has certain guiding and application value, it can be used to evaluate and predict the traction performance index in advance when enterprises developing new products.
