Design of Converter Control Unit Based on Electric Drive Tractor

This article briefly introduces the advantages of electric drive tractors, elaborates on the main circuit topology and main electrical parameter design of the tractor’s electric drive system, and develops a converter control unit based on ARM+DSP+FPGA hardware architecture, achieving complete decoupling of network communication, core control algorithm, and logic control.The developed converter control unit has completed loading tests and long-term plowing tests, solving two typical problems during the experimental process.The test results show that the developed converter control unit can meet the control requirements of electric drive tractors, with advanced hardware architecture and stable and reliable performance.
