Abstract: China is a large country of fruit planting, rich in fruit varieties and resources, and widely distributed in the region.With the adjustment of the rural industrial structure and the continuous development of the forest fruit industry, the planting area of forest fruit is constantly expanding. However, the hilly terrain, steep terrain and complex working environment of China’s orchards restrict the development of orchard economy. Therefore, it is very important to study the orbital transporter suitable for mountain orchard. In this paper, the existing research on rail transport in China is summarized, and the importance of rail transport in orchard development in China is pointed out. On this basis, the problems existing in the research and application of mountain orchard rail transport aircraft and the future development direction are summarized, which provides a reference for the follow-up research on mountain orchard rail transport aircraft.
