Abstract: Plant-protection spray nozzle is the terminal unit of equipments for pesticide application and plays a decisive role in terms of liquid atomization and spraying quality.The effect of pesticide application and the utilization rate of pesticide,to a great extent,depend on the selection of nozzle type and the quality of the nozzle itself.Based on the overview of the current situation of the pesticide application and the status quo analysis of the research on plant-protection nozzles in China,the paper summarized the existing problems in the research,development,and application of the plant-protection nozzles in China.Furthermore,and some suggestions were put forward on the improvement opinion of these problems.Strengthening the theoretical basis research on plant-protection nozzles,which can provide a theoretical foundation for the research and development of high quality nozzles with independent property right.Strengthening the research and development of the purpose-designed plant-protection nozzles.Applying new materials and new technologies to the R＆D of plant-protection nozzle,which can improve the performance and service life of the nozzles.Improve the manufacturing process and quality of plant-protection nozzles.
