Abstract:
Intelligent orchard weeding robots play an important role in the modernization and intelligent development of smart orchard management, and are of great significance in solving problems such as labor shortage, low efficiency, environmental pollution, and food safety that arise during cultivating and weeding in orchards. To clarify the research status of key technologies and equipment applications of orchard weeding robots,the research progress of typical orchard weeding robots in intelligent perception and recognition technology,mobile body design and control, and weeding mechanism development were summarized. Based on the common problems of existing robots such as insufficient endurance, substandard autonomous navigation ability, weak versatility of mobile chassis, and poor quality of inter-plant weeding, it is pointed out that equipped with clean and green hybrid energy, optimized combined navigation and recognition technology, and the development of composite mobile bodies and multi-functional weeding machines, as well as improved multi-machine swarm control and collaborative operation technology are the future development trends of intelligent orchard weeding robots.
