Abstract: The cutter is one of the important working parts of the sugarcane harvester. This article discusses the research status of sugarcane cutters at home and abroad and the application of profiling technology, and compares the advantages and disadvantages of the two profiling mechanisms. Aiming at the difficulty of collecting cane leaf weeds and other interference sensor signals, it is proposed to use ultrasonic sensors as the measurement, the distance element plan provides a certain basis for the selection of the sugarcane cutter design plan.
