Abstract: Pineapple is an important tropical fruit of Zhanjiang.Because the production process relies heavily on labor,resulting in high costs and low profits,the industrial potential has not been fully utilized.The mechanization of pineapple production is the fundamental way to increase economic benefits and promote the high-quality development of the industry.The current densely planted pineapple cultivation mode causes more serious pineapple damage when the machines are operated in the field,because agricultural machines do not match the agronomy.According to the cultivation characteristics of Comte de Paris and Tainong varieties and the requirements of mechanized operation,two cultivation modes of four-row strip planting and wide-and-narrow double row ridge planting were formulated,and the pineapple planting machine and pineapple harvester were developed according to the two modes.Preliminary tests have shown that agricultural machinery and agronomy are well integrated to meet the requirements of mechanized operations.
