Abstract: Sweet potato has a long history of planting and is one of the main food crops in Shanwei.It’s sweet potato production has problems such as high operating costs and low level of comprehensive mechanization,which restrict the high-quality development of the sweet potato industry.By discussing the application status of mechanized sweet potato production technology in Shanwei,the measures for the popularization and application of mechanized sweet potato production technology are proposed.Speeding up the popularization and application of mechanized production technologies for sweet potato farming,ridging,planting,plant protection,and harvesting will promote the high-quality development of the sweet potato industry and the transformation and upgrading of agricultural mechanization and agricultural machinery equipment industry in Shanwei.
