  • "Three ponds and two dams" is one of the main modes of pond tail water treatment. In the construction of the "three ponds and two dams" treatment mode for aquaculture tail water in the Huangli Fish Industrial Park in Jinwan District, Zhuhai City, the effluent quality has been tested by professional testing institutions for 8 consecutive days. The average values of each indicator are pH 7.8, suspended solids 25.75 mg/L, CODMn 3.83 mg/L, total phosphorus 0.093 mg/L, and total nitrogen 0.36 mg/L, respectively, In accordance with the second level standard of "Discharge Requirements for Freshwater Pond Aquaculture Water"(SC/T 9101—2007), "the three ponds and two dams" process has shown significant effectiveness in treating the tail water of yellow croaker aquaculture.
