Comparative Experimental Testing and Analysis of Date Palm Weeding Operation based on Multi-model Rotary Tiller

  • The performance differences of 3 different models of rotary tillers in actual operation were investigated by choosing typical jujube orchards in southern Xinjiang as test samples. The rotary tiller widths of 1 600, 1 800, 2 000 mm,and the tractor horsepower of 36.80, 44.13 kW were selected for the test respectively, and the soil treatment effect during operation was compared and data analyzed by focusing on the indexes of operation speed and soil crushing rate. The test results show that under the same working parameters, the rotary tiller width of 1 800 mm, tractor horsepower of 44.13 kW, and rotary tillage depth of 175 mm have the best effect in terms of operating speed and soil fragmentation rate,and consume the lowest energy while meeting the requirements for rotary cultivation in jujube orchards.
