不同碳酸钙对硬质聚氯乙烯复合材料的影响

Effects of Different Kinds of Calcium Carbonate on Rigid PVC Composites

  • 摘要: 以碳酸钙为无机填料,采用熔融共混的方式制备了PVC/CaCO3复合材料,考察了碳酸钙的表面改性方式对复合材料性能的影响.通过傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)及接触角测试对碳酸钙的表面性状进行表征,并用万能试样机、扫描电镜(SEM)等对复合材料的宏观性能和微观形貌进行测试.结果表明:经过硬脂酸和钛酸酯偶联剂复合改性的碳酸钙对复合材料的综合性能改善效果最好,与添加未改性碳酸钙的复合材料相比,其冲击强度提高了15%.

     

    Abstract: PVC/CaCO3 composites were prepared by melt blending with calcium carbonate as inorganic filler. The effect of surface modification of calcium carbonate on the properties of the composites was investigated. The surface characteristic of calcium carbonate were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) and contact angle test, Omnipotent testing instrument and Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and other equipment were used to test the macro properties and micro morphology of the composites. The results show that the composites possess better comprehensive properties which with calcium carbonate modified by stearic acid and titanate coupling agent. Compared to its counterpart with unmodified calcium carbonate, its impact strength is increased by 15%.
