Abstract:
In view of the problem that the post-harvest cleaning of potatoes in China is mostly direct water washing, the lack of matching dry cleaning pretreatment links greatly affects the cleaning effect of potatoes. On the basis of the preliminary research and development, a potato dry cleaning device based on a staggered counter-rubbing combination was designed. The flexible module in the Recurdyn software was used to convert the brush roller into a flexible body and coupled with the EDEM software to establish a discrete element simulation model to simulate the soil cleaning process of the potato dry soil cleaning device. The speed of brush roller, the speed of rubber chain rod and the feeding amount were taken as experimental factors, and the collision times and stress of potato in the device were taken as evaluation indexes to analyze the smoothness of material transportation and the change of damage degree of material. The simulation results show that when the feeding amount is 3 t/h, the rubber chain rod rotation speed is 25 r/min, the first and third brush roller rotation speed is 40 r/min, and the second and fourth brush roller rotation speed is 56 r/min, the potato conveying performance is better and the impact force is less. According to the simulation results, verification tests are carried out, and the results are basically consistent with the simulation results. The research results can provide a theoretical basis for the subsequent experimental optimization of the potato dry soil cleaning device.
