Abstract: It is an effective means to promote the professional skill appraisal of agricultural machinery industry to evaluate the overall quality and ability level of agricultural machinery practitioners. Through consulting a large number of literature and statistical reports, this paper systematically summarizes the development process of vocational skill appraisal in agricultural machinery industry, deeply analyzes the operation characteristics and main achievements of the four stages of "start pilot, rapid development, quality construction, transformation and adjustment", and looks forward to the prospect of socialization reform of vocational skill appraisal in agricultural machinery industry. It is pointed out that the agricultural machinery industry urgently needs to establish and improve the diversified qualification evaluation of skilled talents, vocatiohal skill level identification, and special vocational ability assessment, establish a socialized talent evaluation mechanism with "clear orientation and orderly standards".
