Abstract:
In order to solve the problems of high labor consumption, irregular bagging weight, and low bagging efficiency of the existing potato bagging machine, an intelligent fixed-weight bagging system suitable for multi-station potato bagging machines was developed. The control system used cylinders as actuators instead of manual operations, as well as multiple sensors to collect information, and controlled multiple solenoid valves through PLC processing information to realize the actions of each cylinder. It also realized the alternate operation of each bagging port through the corresponding logic sequence and made the connection action more coherent, thereby greatly improving the utilization rate of each bagging port. At the same time, the software and hardware were designed for the control system, and the bagging performance test was carried out on the basis of this design. The bagging performance test showed that the multi-station potato fixed-weight bagging control system worked well, the fixed-weight bagging error rate was relatively low, the fixed-weight bagging error rate was less than or equal to 3%, and the fixed-weight bagging was better realized. As such, it indicated that the system met the user’s potato bagging requirements. This research is of great significance to promote the intelligentization of potato bagging machines and improve the efficiency of potato bagging machines.
