Abstract:
The complex shape and significant size difference of garlic seeds bring difficulties to the development and design of garlic planting machines. Grading seeds can make garlic sprout orderly and facilitate the development of garlic planting machinery and improve the quality of mechanized garlic planting. Aiming at the problem that there are few special garlic seed graders and the research on its classification technology is not deep enough, this paper explains the research status of agricultural material classification technology and garlic seed classification technology, analyzes the working principle and characteristics of existing mechanical garlic seed classifier and image recognition of garlic seed grading method at home and abroad, and analyzes and compares their performance. Given the existing problems in garlic seed grading machineries, such as grade shifting, failure to provide high efficiency in all levels, blockage of screen holes, and falling of garlic peels, some suggestions were put forward, such as reasonable selection of screening materials or setting of guide ribs, design of screen length according to garlic size distribution, and addition of cleaning device, garlic peel, and dust collection device. The purpose of cooperative industry and intelligent development is to provide a reference for the further development of garlic seed classifiers and promote garlic production mechanization.
