Abstract:
Aiming at the problem of plant protection mechanization in the middle and late stages of facility crop growth, remote control technology, and hydraulic atomization technology were used to design an electric crawler vertical sprayer suitable for walking between rows of facility greenhouses and applying pesticides. The machine was primarily composed of a chassis, walking system, spray boom height adjustment system, spray boom balance system, spray boom mounting seat, spray system, electric control system, and a remote-control system. The control system could control the forward direction as well as the spray of the machine using the remote-control handle. System adjustment and operation were controlled by remote control. Laboratory and field spray tests were carried out to test the performance of the prototype. The test results showed that the flow error rate of each nozzle of the sprayer was less than 10%, the coefficient of variation of the droplet size between different spray heights was less than 15%, and the spray performance was good, that is, the droplet size accorded with the optimal biological particle size theory. The field test results showed that the deposition amount distribution and droplet density distribution of different canopies were better, the deposition amount was greater than 0.3 μg/cm~2, the droplet density was greater than 25 pieces/cm~2, and the deposition distribution and droplet density on the front of the crop leaves had better than that of the back of the blade. The electric crawler vertical sprayer had a good performance, which can meet the inter-row spraying operation of the vine melon in the facility greenhouse, and achieve the goal of combining agricultural machinery and agronomy.
