Abstract: The construction of high standard farmland is an important part of the strategy of “storing food in the land” and an important support to ensure grain production capacity. Based on a large number of references, policy documents and standards, this paper summarized the overall framework of the construction mode of high-standard farmland in view of the problems of imperfect management system, insufficient spatial potential, low investment standards and low construction quality in the construction of high-standard farmland at the present stage. Through the investigation and research on the construction mode of high-standard farmland in the provinces with the top ranking and rapid improvement of the comprehensive evaluation results of high-standard farmland construction in China, it was put forward countermeasures and suggestions for systematically constructing the construction mode of high-standard farmland around the management system, planning layout, construction standards, financial guarantee and implementation management. It provides a useful reference for improving the quality of high-standard farmland construction.
