Abstract:
Based on the development needs of the new liberal arts discipline, conforming to the new needs and new situation of national and regional natural resource management, responding to the new situation and new policies of social and economic development, and promoting the deep integration of virtual simulation technology and experimental practice teaching of land resource management is a new challenge for the construction and development of the major of land resources management. This paper studies the relationship between experimental teaching of land resource management and virtual simulation experimental teaching. According to the characteristics of experimental teaching of land resource management, combined with the practical needs of natural resource management, the laws of professional teaching and students’ training objectives, this paper reconstructed the virtual simulation experimental teaching system of the major of land resource management. Taking Nanjing Agricultural University as an example, the key points of design and application of virtual simulation experiment teaching projects for the major of land resources management were analyzed. In the design phase, it needed to focus on“surveying, mapping, planning, estimation, presentation, and bookkeeping”, clarify the content of student ability training,plan and set up a practical course system, and break down the experimental course hours or teaching projects that combine virtual and real. In the application stage, it needed to focus on the organic connection between experimental teaching and social practice, follow the path of gradual progress, easy first and difficult later, tracking evaluation and continuous improvement. Moreover, the construction and application of virtual simulation experiment projects have to be carried out in collaboration with teachers, students, and third-party development companies.
