Abstract: The paper summarized and analyzed the development situation of aquaculture mechanization in China in 2021, mainly including the development of aquaculture industry, the development status of whole-process mechanization of four main aquaculture modes, such as pond aquaculture, cage aquaculture, factory aquaculture, raft cage and bottom sowing aquaculture. On this basis, we analyzed the main problems in the operation links of the four main breeding modes, such as the overall low level of mechanization and unbalanced development, the weak foundation of technical system, the insufficient integration of mechanization, information technology and intelligence, and the insufficient support ability of efficient applicable facilities and equipment. The countermeasures to promote the development of aquaculture mechanization were put forward as follows: transformation and upgrading of aquaculture facilities and equipment, establishing the whole process mechanization technology system of aquaculture healthy farming, and accelerating the demonstration and application of green, practical and efficient intelligent equipment.
