Abstract: The development of mechanization plays a crucial role in the large-scale and standardized production of vegetables. This paper expounds on the current situation of vegetable mechanization level in Guizhou Province and points out the factors that currently restrict the development of mechanization, including difficulty in developing large vegetable machinery in mountainous and hilly areas, low degree of integration between vegetable machinery and agronomy, and the difficulty of unified standardization. To address these problems, this paper puts forward suggestions for improving rural infrastructure, promoting agricultural machinery cooperatives to expand the planting scale, standardizing the planting standards, developing key machinery for planting advantageous varieties of vegetables, promoting the high-quality development of vegetable machinery and equipment, strengthening the training of agricultural machinery professionals, improving the supporting conditions of vegetable machinery services, increasing policy support, and promoting the transformation of excellent achievements. This paper provides a reference for the future development direction of vegetable machinery in Guizhou.
