Abstract:
In order to accurately grasp the status, hotspots and trends of research in the field of pesticide droplet wetting and spreading, with the help of the CiteSpace software and based on the literature samples from nearly 30 years obtained from CNKI and WOS databases, a visual analysis was carried out in the terms of the number of publications, countries, institutions, authors, research hotspots and evolutionary trends. The results showed that the research on pesticide droplet wetting and spreading was in a stage of rapid development at home and abroad, and the annual number of publications showed a surge. In 2021, the annual number of publications in Chinese and foreign literature has reached 78 and 53, respectively. Meanwhile, the stable core author groups and publishing institutions have been formed, but the cooperative relationship among various groups or various institutions was weak. In this field, China and America were the main research countries, and China had the most publications(109 foreign literature), but the influence of these literatures(Centrality 0. 09) was far less than that of America(Centrality 0. 46). In terms of research hotspots, domestic researches focused on practical aspects, such as exploring spraying parameters, droplet behavior analysis, pesticide chemical selection and combinations. Apart from the hotspots above, international researches also focused on innovation aspects, including the development of new pesticide materials, new spraying equipment and technologies. In the future, researches related to unmanned aerial vehicle application technology will be a scientific hotspot in this field.
