Research on the core literacy ability of the “second classroom” talents in agricultural and forestry university under the background of “new agricultural science”

Abstract
By investigating the current situation of talent cultivation in agricultural and forestry colleges in Jiangsu province since the construction of “new agricultural science” by the Ministry of Education, problems were discovered that there is a good overall atmosphere for the cultivation of core literacy ability in the “second classroom” of students in agricultural and forestry colleges, but the coverage of students is narrow. Students’ sense of identity is strong, but their subjective initiative is poor. Students’ understanding is not comprehensive enough, their feelings of “agriculture” need to be improved. Related measures to cooperatively cultivate students’ “second classroom” core literacy ability are put forward: to integrate the relationship between the commonness and individuality of students’ growth orientation; to integrate the relationship between the inheritance and innovation of “class” content; to integrate the effective integration relationship between the two classes; and to integrate the relationship of resources in agricultural and forestry colleges. Under the guidance of the theory of “three all-round education”, to construct an education system of “second classroom” core literacy ability training, which has thorough system design, scientific content arrangement and perfect evaluation mechanism, and to serve the new situation of “new agriculture” agricultural and forestry colleges promoting the all-round development of talents.
