Abstract
In order to explore the students’ satisfaction with the quality of talent training under the new engineering education system, the multi-dimensional space of student training under the new engineering teaching system was constructed by empirical research method. The students in the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Xinjiang Agricultural University were taken as an example to conduct a questionnaire survey, and five potential variables such as school-enterprise cooperation, teachers’ practical ability, curriculum reform, practical conditions and ability training mechanism were selected to build a multidimensional space for student training. The exploratory factor analysis method was used to test the explanatory ability of the selected measurement variables to related problems, and a multi-dimensional structural equation model for student training was constructed based on structural equation model(SEM). The results indicated that school-enterprise cooperation had a positive correlation with practical conditions, curriculum reform, teachers’ practical ability and ability training mechanism, with standardized path coefficients of 0.903, 0.421, 0.591 and 0.764, respectively. Practical conditions had a positive correlation with curriculum reform conditions, teachers’ practical ability and ability training mechanism, with standardized path coefficients of 0.571、0.652、0.710, respectively. Teachers’ practical ability had a direct positive correlation with the curriculum reform and ability training mechanism, with standardized path coefficients of 0.433、0.732, respectively, and the curriculum reform had a direct positive correlation with the ability training mechanism, with standardized path coefficients of 0.619.
