Impact of capital endowment, perceived value and government regulation on farmers′green technology adoption behavior: Based on 422 household survey data in Dazhu County, Sichuan Province

  • The adoption of green technology by farmers is the key to achieve green development of agriculture. In order to systematically analyze the mechanism affecting the adoption of green technology by farmers, based on 422 survey data of farmers in Dazhu County, Sichuan Province, the orderly Probit model was used to empirically analyze the interactive influence of capital endowment, perceived value and government regulations on the adoption behavior of green technology by farmers. The results show that the size of capital endowment reflects the green technology adoption behavior of farmers to a large extent, and the economic capital endowment(0. 554) > cultural capital endowment(0. 524) > social capital endowment(0. 160), indicating that the higher the capital endowment, the stronger the intention of green technology adoption. Perceived economic value(0. 869), perceived ecological value(0. 783), and perceived social value(0. 469) all positively stimulates farmers′ green technology adoption behavior, and the higher the capital endowment, the stronger the perceived intention, the more prominent incentive effect on farmers. Government regulation(0. 013) can strengthen farmers′ perceived value and improve their adoption of green production technologies. On this basis, countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to improve the green agricultural products trading market, promote the correct ecological values of farmers′ maternity and rearing, and strengthen government regulations.
