Abstract
Daylily(Hemerocallis citrina) is rich in nutrients, yet easy to rot and deteriorate, which greatly constrains the improvement of shelf quality and industrial development. Aiming to provide reference for technological advancement and industrial development, research status in postharvest physiology and preservation technology of daylily was reviewed. Additionally, the improvement of storage characteristics of daylily was prospected from perspectives of optimization of preservation technology and genetic engineering technology.
